Do you only get them in winter, Kirk? We have them here spring/summer but not sure about winter. They are a beautiful little bird, as are your photos of them.

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the nice comments. Dean, They're here where I'm at all the time but I don't know much about them either so I googled it and found this from a good source: "Since the bluebirds remain in winter in a lot of places, a Heated Birdbath can supply the open water they need to survive. An open water source is critical during cold weather as most water is frozen over. All life needs water year around." they also went on to say bird houses for blue birds are needed for their species and that they're great to have around to keep a garden clear of insects. Maybe more info than you asked for but I thought it was interesting.
