Winter Bridge

This is a bridge across the Red River near where I live in Louisiana. I don't do black and white often, and am open to critique.

Seems kind of flat to me. And I'm not sure what the subject is. I know there's trees, and a bridge, but they compete for attention. Maybe try a different angle? It just sort of lacks meaning, not sure what the focus is.

As far as the contrast goes, if you shot in RAW try to bring out more of the shy, unless it was just a gray day.
