Two things that most people hate: lens flare and too much negative space. I just happen to like them both.

I like intentional use of negative space. I do wish the camera angle were a bit lower. I feel like I'm "look up" to the trees, but "looking down" on the subjects. I'm wondering how this would have looked with the camera lens down to, say, roughly "knee" level to pick up their feet and provide more of an upward-looking view.
