Winter Study #2

You have pink snow. The bow is to close to the edge of the frame and the waterline isn't helping to frame the shot. Crop that out, get rid of the pink snow extend your foreground a bit and the shot has decent potential.
 
My main gripe is the virtually non-existent contrast in the snowy areas. I can hardly discern the line separating that blob of snow on top of the canoe from the background. Maybe slapping a curves layer on there and darkening the mid-tones would help.
 
Thanks for the comments. The pink is due to it being a C41 process B&W film. I removed it on my computer and printed on satin matt paper both with and without the pink blush, but found I liked the original better; which is why I posted this version here.

Looks like the shot was done in overcast condition. Snow needs some sun to display the texture.
I am also against the pink hue in BW picture. (First I thought it is my monitor :).)
