In a cold and wintry Warsaw - taking one of my nephews around Warsaw and Auschwitz to help with his history projects.


This statue is of a 13 year old boy who was killed in the Warsaw uprising in 1944 - very touching

I like the pictures and I'm certain that the originals are wonderful with the equipment but I don't get the iso and shutter speed choice.

Simple - I want to shoot at lowest native 100 with good depth of field. Especially when using a tripod.

We drove down to the Katowice area and today we visited the horrors of Auschwitz Camp One and Birkenau. It was obviously quite shocking to find ourselves in a gas chamber and walking in the camps where 1.3 million people were systematically killed.


All with Nikon D800 and Nikkor 24 - 70

The camp images are very thought provoking and I like the quality of the images....especially the housing with fence.
