Wireless Remotes for Canon

I've used a wireless remote (RC-1) for my Canon XTi, and was wondering if there are other options out there that allow for an increased range and the ability to shoot without having to point the remote at the front of the camera. I guess I'm looking for a radio remote instead of the infared units that Canon makes. I figure there has to be something like this that attaches to your hotshoe- do any of them send shutterspeed / aperture back to you so you can change these remotely?
