Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Do the camera and the phone need to be logged into the same wireless network for the WU-1a to work? Or, if I were, say, out in the field, can I use the adapter to connect directly to my iPhone? I was under the impression that they had to be on the same wireless network, but I have seen posts that seem to indicate you do not. Any insight would be appreciated.

The WU-1a IS the wireless. Just search for it with the phone.

Wow, that's great. I'm even more interested in getting one now. Thank you for the information.

Nikon's WMU (Wireless Mobility Unit) app is exceedingly lame. You can see in LiveView and take/download images, but that's about it. Look into getting a CamRanger if your budget allows, or maybe find a cheap Android phone that has no service and download DSLR Dashboard.

Yeah, I've read that people are not impressed with the app. All I would want it for would be importing the photos on to my phone so I can edit them with Photoshop Touch and then send them to family. Probably mostly the snapshots of my kids. Nothing fancy.
