When I make a print like this with the impressionism effect, the creative process continues to the print. I like to print these on canvas, and apply a resin epoxy coating which adds a high gloss finish, or a glossy spray for less of a gloss. Sometimes I attempt to match some of the colors with water color paint before I apply the finish. What I should do is take a photo of the final print. To achieve the painterly effect, I blur, watercolor, sharpen, poster edge, saturate, and what ever else works. Its funny, people either really like it or don't. There are not many in-betweens.
