They're a bit small and central in the frame for me. I'd have had the subject further to the right in there. That said it's always nice to see natural environment shots and it's a species we don't get here so a bonus there.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree it's a little small, however, my lens is only 300mm and the bird was pretty high up in the tree. I tried cropping the picture more, but it became a little too grainy.

that's always a tough situation when you can see it but can't reach it with the lens. i always have the same problem on the boardwalk trail at the refuge. can't get off of the boardwalk to get closer. keep practicing so you're ready when the bird gets closer.
