How far are these gators from your house Kirk?

As the crow flies ... about 3/4 of a mile. It's actually part of an old golf course that closed down years ago and the animals took over. There's a small lake 40 feet behind the house where they reside also. Small, freshwater lakes are everywhere around here so they're basically everywhere.
Rule #1. Don't get in the water.
Rule #2. Don't go near the water.
Rule #3. See rules # 1 and 2.

Good thing they're not like the alligators in the movie who wanders around house after house or in a town, its scary to live near such lake

For the most part they're scared of humans and flee when you get too close but can it can be a bad mistake getting too close because they're wild and unpredictable. Hollywood is fantasy land.

Thanks! I don't know, maybe it's OK. I had one neighbor harassing me for taking pictures across the street from his house the other night.
