Your photos make me wonder, Pierre: do you use film and scan the prints? They all have this look.

my photos are not scanned print at all!
I use a compact, Olympus m720 SW.
after my firsts posts here, some people told me that most of my photos' backgrounds were lacking saturation so now most of them or corrected for that

The colours in this one are really nice, but somehow I find your photos lack just that bit of sharpness I would expect to see in digital photos (and which does not quite show as much in scanned prints, unless you have a dedicated negative scanner to work with, which I don't have). That's why I asked. I also like the motif!
