Working On My Landscapes (C&C Welcome)

Recently went on a business trip to New Mexico and while I was there thought I would work on my landscapes. Any thoughts, comments, critiques?

I like that it gives the feeling you could step through the screen and just walk into the scene. The colors (or lack of) are a bit off putting. Keep working at it. I think you know very well what to do in camera, but the post needs some work.

Infrared shot I pressume?? I love the contrast in the sky, would love to see a little more of that in the foreground if possible.
The bush does nothing for me but makes me wonder what's behind it in the sky

I don't think it is infrared but the selective coloring doesn't do anything for me...I think there's areal strong B&W hiding in there just looking for a way out. Heck, I know there is...I've seen it. yes, I'm a bad boy but I didn't post it.

Thank y'all! It's not infrared, just a trick I sometimes do by using a red filter to set a custom white balance and shoot with. All I did in post was increase the saturation just a hair. Might have adjusted the contrast just a hair too, can't remember. I'll have to take this one B&W as soon as I get a chance.
