Yeh... The heavy sharpening is quite visible. How far were you form this people ?

Quite a ways off I guess. I was trying to get a decent shot of a banner just behind and above where they were walking to use as a closing shot of a photo story; but when I reviewed the shots I took of this later, I didn't like any enough to use. This small group of people, looking so mean in my direction, was something that caught my eye in one of the shots; though at the time I didn't even notice their disgruntled looks, and just gave them one of my customary smiles as they passed by...
