Would this work on a DSLR?

I know nothing about Canons but my first thought would be no. The mouting system on most DSLRs is very different from P&S cams.

Far as I know these adaptors just screw into the pocket cameras filter thread on the front of the lens itself - so in theory it can be attached to a DSLR lens with the same filter thread size (or with stepping rings). However DSLR sensors are much bigger than point and shoot ones and the image circle needed to be cast is thus greater. I'd expect poor performance from such an addon if used on a DSLR. Central performance might be ok, but the edges would be in serious trouble and there might even be the good chance of vignetting problems as well.

OK, this is kind of what I was thinking too, but had to ask.

Thanks!
