So the first shot was 20 sec at f4 at ISO1600...
I've gotten similar color/contrast at midnight at ISO200 on my Nikon, but the exposures were 5 to 10 minutes... don't recall exactly. Much less noise...
I'd say stay out of your long exposure shots...maybe try combining multiple exposures--one long for the truck, and a lower power flash shot for you and combine them.
And personally, I find the pose in the last shot there a bit on the strange side.
Since your shooting digitally, stay out and play around with it...
