Wrap around Text.... or something like that...

Okiday, so I have a cup and I want to put some text on it. Using GIMP, how would I do that?? Thanks!!

It depends on which program you use.

I'm hooked up with Adobe Photoshop CS.
What I do is create a text object, and in the top bar there's an arch with a T on top of it. Clicking on it brings up a new window where I can warp text giving it an arch to a wave or even to a fish eye view.

It's also under Layer-Type-Warp Text...
