Hello! Greetings from Northern California! Im new to the site and photography as well! I picked up a Canon t2i around November of 2010 and since then have just been trying to get a better understanding of the camera. I bought the body with an 18-55mm kit and a 55-250mm lens. My main shooting focus' are cars and making videos. Im currently looking to purchase a tripod under the $200 mark. Ive been looking at the B&H website and am thinking about purchasing the induro PHT0 3-WAY PANHEAD.

But have found no reviews on it since its a new item. Who else is planning to purchase this head? or would you suggest another head? It looks suitable for the videos i will be making. Also still need to look around for the legs of the tripod. Any suggestions?

Interesting that you bought a DSLR specifically to make videos and not a Camcorder. Welcome! Looking forward to seeing what you make with it!
