check out the zenitar 16mm f/2.8 fisheye on ebay. It's obviously not a canon lens but they have it in an eos mount for canon af bodies. It's not an af lens though. you'll have to manual focus it. It's selling right now for about $230 with shipping.

get the tokina 10-17 usually you can find em for like 579.. thats pretty cheap for a fish.. and tokina makes good lenses in general

Wow fish-eye lenses are pricey!

* AF is not absolutely necessary with fish eye's... DOF is pretty deep
* Certain fisheye's might not get you the results you expect on a crop APS frame.
* Fisheye glass that screws to the front of another lens via the filter threads are not ideal but they are inexpensive.
* I don't believe "cheap" and "fisheye lens" usually make it into the same sentence. No more than "cheap" and "super telephoto"

Your best buy are M42 mount Zenitar and Peleng. If your lucky a Pentax/Takumar.
