Ok, so heres the sitch
I have 2 really nice pentax lenses. I can't attach them to my nikon without loss of IQ, but its still an option for $30. Another option is to trade them in along with a still undetermined sum of money, probably around $100-$200, for a lens that would compare to the pentax in mm and f stop but maybe not glass quality. A third option is to try to find a cheap pentax dslr that I can use my pentax lenses on. Problem with this on is I really don't have any money to out out on this.

Derrel knows more on the subject, but they seem better suited to accept old Pentax lenses.

Yeah, either find a low-cost Pentax d-slr (and there are a good number of very low-cost Pentax d-slrs) on the4 used market, OR as Braineack suggested, just use the Pentax lenses adapted to a Canon EF camera, like the T-whatever.

If you have a nikon body I'd sell both the Pentax lenses and get the 35 & 50mm 1.8. I think you can get both for around $400.

I already have the 35mm 1.8
The main lens in question is the pentax 16mm 2.8 fisheye, its apparently pretty rare. Id trade it for the nikon 10mm 2.8 fisheye. The other lens is a 50mm 1.7 which I don't currently have, so both lenses would fill a need but I don't have a body to go with them and I don't know if spending $200 on an old technology declined body is really the best option. (No offense darrel!). Its also $200 I don't have, so I'd probably have to sell off a couple other lenses or something to fund it.

Well if it were me I'd probably price the Nikon 10mm 2.8 Fisheye used and see what you can find, then put the pentax lens up on Ebay for enough to cover the cost of the Nikon (don't forget to increase the price a bit to cover seller fees, paypal fees et al) and see if it sells. If it does you've got enough to buy the Nikon lens, if not well your not really out anything.

The other option would be to look at selling off your Nikon gear and replacing it with Pentax, but of the two I'd probably recommend option A.
