Welcome to TPF, Ann.
When you installed your camera on your computer (assuming that it is a digital one), what software came along with it - is it a software that allows you a modicum of post processing devices? If so, you can still try to circumvent some of your camera's own problems such as too much light, too little contrasts. Have you ever given it a try?

For compositionwise your photos are good, especially the last one. That last one does lack in contrast, though, and that is something which can most easily be mended through even the simplest of programmes.

See? Sometimes it is as easy as that.
Now what more I'd suggest is you go down several steps in luminosity first, then add contrast (always starting out again with the original, of course). You might be surprised!
