This has been the year for spiders in my area. They have been everywhere, even all over my truck.

soft image..... not sharp at all....
 
You have the web in focus, at the expense of your spider. Try shooting around F5.6-F8.0 and the zoom in/move in increasing DOF to maintain bg blur
