Thanks guys. Well to answer your question Ernie. I woke at 5.15am on the Friday for work. Did my whole day in the office, got home, watched some DVDs, went out at midnight to the pub with a friend, then stayed there till just after 3am then went down to the harbour for first light, finished shooting just after 5.30am - went home, some breakfast and into bed! Well worth staying out all night, something like that feels spiritual as well because the streets are empty apart from the odd soul walking around and I usually listen to movie soundtracks on my ipod doing this, so its pretty amazing when you feel like your the only one seeing this amazing site even thought it happens every morning!
