yet another great capture! like the way hes got his chest pushed forward and his wings dropped slightly

Did you edit the background much?
only with that look from the bird ( great look captured) and that dark (almost stormy) background you have a fantastic shot there!

The background was very ugly so I desaturated it.

hmm maybe a blur tool or something along the edges of the bird then?
his head looks fine - but along his wings back and chest (the browner areas mostly) the change from fore to background looks a little "artifical sharp" to my eye
course you might be wanting the look that you have - either way its a cracker of a pose from the bird
