This picture made me smile and I'm not even sure why. Perfect composition; it looks like a painting! The colors and contrast are great, and I love how you can see even amounts of the sun coming through the top and bottom. Nice work!

Wolverine, I took this on a fishing pier so I couldn't back up or I would have flipped into the water, hehe. But I would have backed up a bit and shot some where the sun didn't overlap. Though i'm very happy how this one came out, I think it would still be my favorite. Here is another from the same series, just as the sun broke the horizon:
