Great wildlife shots!! I like 5,7,12 the most

1 and 7 are my favorites! Beautiful pictures... I do'nt think i'd wanna come face to face with that buffalo !

Thanks everyone, glad you've enjoyed them!

Weren't you afraid of the wolf coming after you?

It is a coyote (much smaller than a wolf). I wasn't afraid of it at all, it had it's own agenda, and more or less steered clear of me to go "mousing" in some sage brush.

Jamie--

I love the font you use for your signature on your pics and quite honestly would like to copy you if that's alright.

Can you give me the name of the font you use for the sig??

Thanks
Ben

BTW ....

I really like #5

Have at it, It's Nora Casual... I found it in CS2 and it's close to my actual signature.

1 & 12 are my faves. Like how you give a sense of where the elk lives in #1.

Any advice for a noob shooting on an overcast snowy day?

Ahhh!!! I have CS and it's not on here!!

I have Mistral and it's fairly close!

Watch your histogram. Even being overcast, it was quite bright out. I shoot in AV mode alot for wildlife so I can get the shallow DOF I'm after. I'll Take a shot, then adjust the Exposure Value (EV) to the + side as I watch the histogram till I get what I'm after. Bright snowy conditions tend to underexpose images.
