I find this very compelling. Using the structure for framing is an inspired choice and her arms form nice lines in their unique pose. She looks as though she's been working or digging in the earth and it makes for an image with "grit".

We took pictures in an abandoned area. It was hot and dusty. By the end of the day, we were covered in dust, as you can see in the photo.
