zoom lenses

First post here, hi all. Not new to photography really. I have a canon rebel XS with the standard 18-55 lens. I'm looking for a telephoto zoom lens and I'm unsure which one would do me the best. As a complement to your existing 18-55mm kit lens, you could consider the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS for about $240 or the EF 70-200mm f/4L USM for about $600.

IMO get the 55-250 IS, it goes perfect with the 18-55
