For me the all of the pics haf to much DOF, it isso much nicer if you lay all of the attention on 1 spot by blurring out the background with a wide aperture
 
It might be worth thinking about buying used or even maybe trading in/selling something else to get a sharper lens if you're going to be doing a lot indoors in existing light. It could help some to have the backgrounds less in focus but especially if the other people are that close to your subjects then they may still be fairly noticeable.

I'd keep working on your framing and vantage points. I find it can be challenging in tight quarters where I can't move around much, I've sometimes leaned waayyyy over to one side etc. to get in the frame what I want as much as possible. Such as #3, I don't know if you could have moved a step or not (or some slight cropping might help), the kids in the background look okay but I'd rather not see an arm along the edge of the photo, that to me can make for a distraction and clutter up the photo.
