A Fireworks Thread.

Happy 4th to all! Sorry to see that so many had rain. These fireworks were shot in Duluth, Ga., on the 3rd.

It was a great evening for the event!

It rained here too so I really couldn't get out there and shoot.

I got this last night, as you can see there was a tree and a power line in the way.
But I just wanted to practice a little for tonight. Darn rain.:madmad:

Anyway, this was my first attemp to shoot fireworks ...

Hey, Ian, I was at that same show in Peoria! And I think you were standing right in front of me.

Where were you standing?

Just when I'm ready to comment on someones great picture, I see another great picture from someone else,.. I'll just have to say, great work everybody :)

Our show is tonight, I hope to get at least a couple that are as nice as what I see here.

We went to Philadelphia Park, who boasted the "biggest" fireworks display in all of Philadelphia...Not sure how it turned out at the Art Museum, but we stayed close, and this was it. Anyway, I know the trees are in the way, and I was off a bit, but this is my first attempt with fireworks, and honestly, they didn't shoot very high. Excuses I know. Take care and Happy belated 4th to everyone.

A few more. Still undecided whether to take the crusier lights out or not. Maybe just chalk this series up as another lesson and go shoot some more tonight.

went through 1 and a half rolls of Velvia and ran out :(

...Went through a roll of Portra 160VC, and a roll of Fuji PRO 160S.

After that, all I had was B&W. B&W fireworks just doesn't sound right...lol.

Same here - I had a roll of HP5+ and a roll of FP4+ in my bag and I was thinking it over but.... nahhhh XD

Used the HP5+ later on the metro though, so I got a roll of B&W to get through now! wheeee

I kinda like the cop car in the back ground in some of those.... on another note they look very low to the ground?? or is that just an optical illusion?

One of the very FEW video's I have taken with the D90.
