A rare occassion!

Disclaimer: there is a ton of pics here so I wont expect CC, however, if you're bored and feel like pointing out anything you like or dont like feel free!

some of these arent very strong but i think they are cool nonetheless. reasoning below

I live in Wilmington, NC directly on the eastcoast. The Atlantic ocean is literally a couple miles from where I'm sitting right now... and we NEVER get snow here that accumulates... needless to say, we woke up to about 5 inches of this morning! So, likewise, I jumped up at 7am and pulled the fiance out of bed for some pictures

It was freezing so camera shake may be in play a little on some of these.

I like 16 and 20, although 20 is too blue, but the image of a snowman on the beach is pretty cool.

thanks. while the white balance may be a tad off, it was very blue out. b/t the sky/ocean the snow had a blue glow to it. it was pretty early before the sun burnt through the clouds and casted a nice light

newbie here. However, I like 15 rather than 16. I feel the pier leading into the photo works better. there is a line in 15 from the pier to to top left corner which is a little distracting..what is it? I notice similar lines are in a couple of the photos. Also 18 I like the quirkiness of the sinister snowman, though would prefer him to face in from where he stands. Also like 3 though for me, I like when you get the bokeh in the out of focus area. so I would like the boat as the focal point and the background & foreground out of focus to some degree. Saying that, they are a nice group of photos and show you how the area was when the snow arrived!!

some kind of guide wires or something they had from the top of the building down to the pier. i think it may be something they use to hang decorations from honestly. and yea, i was thinkin the same about him facing the other way but it was already made!
