Bayfront Park

Took the kids kite flying today - this is Bayfront Park, a real gem in the city's ongoing reclamation and rehabilitation of our industrial waterfront. I LIVED here when I was a student with a tiny downtown apartment. Fifteen years later and I take my kids as often as possible. The wind comes in off the lake so you can pretty much always get a kite in the air. Today our little kite had a bit of trouble with too much wind!
