The ruins of this old castle are right next to the train station I use to get to work with. I couldn't resist a photo the other morning whilst it was foggy and my train was late ;)

geez... you just couldn't resist, huh?

I think I'd be jumping for joy if I even had a chance at a picture like that, much less coming out with one! it looks pretty fantastic!

Awesome. Very atmospheric. It has a very slight sepia feel to it.

The title of this jumped out at me... this is local for me, I remember visiting the ruins on a school trip many many years ago. Looks like I should go back now with my camera; I'd be happy to capture it half as well as you've done here.

Oh Mohain, what a beautiful pic ... I love how it looks like sepia, how the sun is brighter in the reflection, and just the whole moody feel. Great eye for a shot!

Thanks for the link, Mohain. I don't think I'd ever heard the terms 'motte and bailey' before.

Terrific lighting on this shot, nice foggy atmosphere.
