Ha ha, busted!
Reminds me of my brother back in high school. Mom busted him in a classic way.
If you are a hockey fan, you will recall that the Pittsburgh Penguins won the cup 2 years straight. The 2nd year, Pittsburgh held a rally at the stadium. My brother wanted to skip school and go, but mom wouldn't allow him. She told him he had better go to school.
He comes home from school and asks him, "Steve, how was school today?" He replies in the typical bored 15 year old teenager fashion, "Fine..."
Mom: "Steve, how was school today?"
Steve: "It was fine..."
Mom: "Steve, I'll ask one more time, how was school today?"
Steve: "I said, it was fine..."
Mom: "You know, I was watching the news and they showed the Penguin rally. I saw you on TV."
Steve: "WHAT? NO WAY!!! I CAN'T BELEIVE WE WERE ON TV!!! I can't wait to tell the guys that you saw us on the news!"
Mom: "No, you weren't on TV, but I told you that you'd better not skip school today and go to the rally."
Busted!
