Just a random question as i am a bit bored...

Who is your favourite Bond and why?

Mine was always Sean Connery as i think Bond should always look like he could actually handle himself in a fight. Plus, he smoked, was sexist, arrogant, had tattoos and was basically an alround politically incorrect bad-boy.

compare that to the likes of Moore (camp safari suit man) and Brosnan (smarmy posh git) both of whom i firmly believe could not fight themselves out of a wet paper bag.

I havent seen the latest Casino Royale with Daniel Craig, but i have to say it looks promising.

Anyways, that almost turned into a rant. Who's your fave Bond? :D

All I know is that the latest one is the best

Russ Abbot was good as Basildon Bond

yea Sean Connery all the way.... although i dont dislike the other bonds... they just wernt as good. The new one does look promising (i havent seen it yet either) although at first, i was a bit supprised to see they cast a blond guy.

Hands down Connery. But I'm also intrigued by Daniel Craig's Bond (I've not seen it either)

It's such a hard choice. I like Sean Connery because he's just... the Bond of all Bonds, but Roger Moore always has the witty lines, and Brosnan is best for the action ones. Dalton was okay, but nothing special. He looked too... 'pretty-boy'ish for me.

And Daniel Craig was absolutely amazing in Casino Royale.

But George Lazenby was horrible. :p I'm glad he only stuck to one.

Funny you should bring this up...

I was just watching a little of the 1987 Timothy (dalton?) Bond...

He sucks...

That's why I'm not watching it now. lol

The one with the Cellist he was following... I think it was in Russia... or had to do with Russia.
That was the better of the two by far. His second one was just terrible! I really like Living daylights though. It has some amazing action scenes.
I do think Sean Connery was the best Bond. Even in his one off Never Say Never Again he was better than the rest. I do like the Moore films though. I grew up with him as Bond. Brosnan was good in Goldeneye but I think that was the only really good Brosnan Bond movie. The rest were just ok.
Coincidentally, I bought Casino Royale today. I'm not sure when I'll get to see it though. Probably over the weekend. I've heard good things about the movie and Craig as Bond so I am hopeful that this one won't disappoint.

*laughs* Most of them do.

I hope it doesn't disappoint! I thought it was amazing. :)

Hum... how 'bout Peter Sellers? ;-)

Mmm... you mean in the old, not-Albert Broccoli-version of Casino Royale? (I haven't seen it, I just looked him up.)

Hmm, I haven't heard great things about that one, but then again, we all know he's excellent in comedy (The Pink Panther!). But action...? Hmm, I don't know.

I saw a part of the Sellers movie. Didn't bother to watch any more. 'Nuff said!
