I just can't figure it out, is there something wrong in the focusing? for some reason it seems out of focus or little blurry.
I use my Olympus E-1 with a FL36 R.

There's tack sharp focus on the tree behind your subjects.

Always use spot focus and focus on the eyes, then recompose to get them out of the center of the picture. Agree the tree is in focus.
This photo needs a levels adjustment, underexposed.
