What are the best settings to use for filming a proposal?

Camera - 5D Markiii with 70-200mm EF lens

Shoot is in an open area of a park and the weather will be overcast but bright (filming done secretly from afar)

Any advice would be massively appreciated! (I am last minute jumping in to help and only know basics)

Hello and welcome, there are lots of videos on utube you should find what you are looking for...

If you're a long way away, put the camera on a tripod. "Filming" implies video, right? Shoot at 1080p30, shutter priority, 1/60, auto ISO. Try not to zoom or move the camera, most tripods are not smooth enough to adjust while shooting video, and a 70-200 won't zoom smoothly. Set for composition and try not to change much.

What are you doing about audio? Hidden wireless mic on one of the two people?

^ This, if you don't have a good gimble or fix it in place with the tripod, the video will be jumpy and hard to watch.
