    hi, i was thiniing of getting the digital rebel (300D) and was just wandrering if it comes with a memory card, or if it has any built in memory, or when i recieve it will i have ti buy a memory card for it before i use it? thanks

    Most of the DSLRs do not come with memory and I'm assuming that is likely the case with this one as well (although I haven't personally bought one). There is no built in memory.

    Generally speaking, even those cameras that do come with memory don't usually come with enough to really be useful. Definitely factor in the cost of a card with your total purchase price and I'd suggest getting at least a 512Mb card, preferably more.

    it does not come with a card, you have to buy them seperately unless you buy it from somewhere that the company might throw one in, but canon does not put on with the camera body
