Hi
Can anyone help, please. I am new to photography, I have the above bridge camera on which I have taken a good few shots with no problems. I have obviously done something wrong and now when I look through the viewfinder or display there is a black bar top and bottom of the view. After taking a shot, viewing it or downloading onto the computer the black bars are still there giving me a narrow picture.
How can I delete these two bars and go back to what I believe is called a full frame? ( I have looked through the instructions but to no avail)
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gell.

I am new to my SX60 but may know what has happened. I've never used an SX50 but assume there are similarities. Most likely, you have inadvertently changed the Single Image Aspect Ratio. On mine, I hit Function Set and scroll until I see a ratio. Most likely, you are at 3:2, with a black bar. Change it to 4:3 or whatever else you choose.
