Got on the backorder list at B&H,...

Just to be clear, our "notify me when it's in stock" list is not a back-order list. To be on the backorder list you'd have to have paid and received a B&H transaction number.

Gotcha. I am not a huge fan of that since I am still looking and I dont wanna tie my money up not knowing when they will be in stock. If I did that and found one local right after I would be kicking myself in the ass.

Everyone has their personal prefs when it comes to Canon v. Nikon, I have used both with great results and simply prefer Canon. That and the fact that all the lenses I have at the moment are a Canon mount the switching costs would be too high for me to reasonably consider a Nikon.
