Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi, I am new to all of this but I post lots of pictures on Facebook and Instagram. Just curious how to go about copyrighting my photos before posting them.

Thanks for your help.

Suzanne

Your images are copyright the minute you create them. You don't actually need to do anything, HOWEVER, most social-media 'sites have EULA/TOS/T&C which essentially give them the right to do with as they please, any images placed on their servers, so while you do own the image and hold the copyright, you likely don't have a lot of control of it if you've posted it to a social-media website.

To try and give my images some sort of protection I always reduce the size down to 1024 X 768. good luck and welcome to the forum...

To give yourself any copyright protection you can actually do anything with, you need to submit them to the USCO. Along with some money, of course.
