Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Looking to replace my old and outdated screen, and I've been considering a curved screen. Has anyone used one for editing? I've heard some people go crazy for them and others are worried about the distortion. Anyone have actual real-world use and opinions they can offer?

I see the curved TV's as a bit of a gimmick due to the viewing distance, but for a single up-close user I could see there being a real nice effect on the eyes.

I always plan on displaying my photos flat, whether on screen or paper, so would want to work on them the same way.

I think this is a really valid point to consider. How often will your images be shown on a curved surface? Personally I feel, as does the author of this Petapixel article, like it would mess with your eyes in terms of things being straight/crooked.

A 4k or 5k monitor 27-32" monitor would be much better than a curved screen.
