Do these sites sound legit?

I'm in the market for a D300(body only). I found two sites that sell them super cheap. They both say they have USA warranty.. Is there something I'm missing that I need to watch out for or are these sites ok to buy from?

I second the advice above.

Typically, these 'stores' just want to get you on the phone so that they can sell you other things at inflated prices. They might have you call them to confirm your order etc. The salesmen would be very pushy and uncooperative. They might try to sell you stuff that should come with the camera anyway and certainly try to sell you stuff that could be found elsewhere for much less (memory cards etc.)

There is also a good chance that they will tell you that it's back ordered and won't be in for a while. They probably don't have it, but they just want to you get impatient and call them back, to give you the pitch again. They might try to substitute it for something else etc.

Bottom line, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is.

Just stick to B&H and/or Adorama (links found on this site) and you will get a fair price.
