Does the 50D have a tendency to overexpose?

I've used -1/3ev as a matter of course when in bright sunlight on the 50D too. Blinkies can still show blown highlights even then, but they're usually recoverable in RAW processing.

I've noticed that most Canons tend to overexpose while Nikons tend to underexpose.
