    I recently kind of botched up some fireworks shots, but I actually thought this one was pretty cool. C&C appreciated as always.

    haha, well, thanks? :) I'll take that as a compliment I guess. :)

    On your shots...

    You used a much wider aperature than I did. You were at like F8, I was at like F22. I was trying to be cutesy and get the star effect (which I did get on this particular shot), but it had the added effect of making my light traces paper thin, and in a lot of cases made the fireworks look more like drawings than explosions of light and FIAH. :)

    You also don't have your contrast up as high as mine I don't think... cranking up the contrast a bit removes the smoke trails and such (or at least minimizes it).

    I did like your shots, btw... I just think they need a bit of tweaking in Photoshop.

    Heh. I'm natually curious and learn a lot from what other people shoot. :)

    Those photos are lovely. I have problems of being to late to take a shot of fire works, beleive me I have tried.
