I found this link from the list of links you posted in my thread. Out of all of the links, I found this one containing images that I find most appealing. What I look for in images is just how memorable they are. Will I think about them later? If I do, then that image is a success. If I don't, then it's just another image in a cast of billions. These images demonstrate your photo editing skills and I think it's great practice for you and not a bad job considering you're a beginner. Here's a further critique.

#1) Not a bad shot at all The clouds are a tiny bit blown out. It also appears to be overly sharpened. I'd like to see more detail in the stones surrounding the island.

#2) The horizon is tilted to the left. The colours are interesting. The subject is not so interesting.
 
The blown out clouds in #1 make it look ethereal. I like it.

A little too much saturation in #2.
