First time Using Tripod (sky pictures)

Well, lucky me found a tripod in my garage (it was probably my uncles since he lived here for a while) its a Ambico V-0555 so I just decided to take some pictures with it
It's my first time using a tripod so it sure would help if you guys can give me some tips on how to use it better P:
