Flowers - Golden Poppies

Nikon D80, 18-135 lens, neighbor's yard. (Golden poppies grow as weeds in California, no need to plant them!)

I used a Nikon D80 (digital), and shot both RAW and JPG (the picture here is the JPG version). The camera was set to auto white balance, auto exposure, auto focus, using the "P" (Programmed) shooting mode. The only other in-camera tweeks were using color mode "IIIa (sRGB)", and setting saturation to "Enhanced".

The only out-of-camera post-processing I did was to resize the image smaller for uploading and display.

(I also shot the same scene with slide film (Fuji Velvia 100F), just to see what the 100F would do with the same scene...I'll have to wait a bit to see those, however )
