Free web hosting for 3 years? I wonder what the catch is.

being a hosting provider, is relatively speaking, a low maintence job (that DOES NOT include windows servers), there are alot of other freebie hosting companies out that offer free webhosting around with no support.

i will seriously question the support they give, even though they say they provide it, you are NOT going to be taken seriously if its a freebie account. Just human nature.

that being said, this may not be a bad deal. they have certainly invested alot of time in saying why they are doing it.

just be careful when your three years comes up. If you aren't using it and forgot about it (which i am sure HEAPS of people will), they have your credit card and they will not be afraid to charge the monthly fee until you cancel!

read the fineprint if they put any banner ads on your site. Happened to me once with one of these cheapo hosting crooks. If your needs are basic I'd recommend doteasy.com - free hosting as well, no banner ads. You just pay for the domain name ($20 a year).
