now this is an awesome shot! love the grain, composition, desaturation and all. how much PS work was involved?

With Orie I'm sure none of it was done in photoshop.

I love this shot like everything of yours Orie.

Thanks guys. :)

Yes, I don't use PS. I only make minor brightness or contrast adjustments in Photo Editor to make the scan look like my print (at least on the monitor I did it on! :p)

bravo, that is a beautiful work!

orie posted in the regular gallery????holy cow!!!!

and a good pic too!!

Wow! Great picture! I like the whole "graininess thing" as well!

..."PS work...." bwahahahaha!!! No offense, Jonmikal, but this is an old-fashioned, real-live, masterfully exposed B&W....no desaturation needed. :p She's been wayyy too modest about this one. She printed this herself at home, but I see she neglected to mention that, too.

I told her to put it here cause it needed no critique, IMO....I simply don't see how she could have done it better. Judging by the reactions so far, I was right.

I so love to be right. :sillysmi:

Orie rocks!

sorry Orie. i'm not that familar with your work to know you don't use PS. awesome job!
