Guitar By Firelight

Messed around with some closeups of the guitar in front of the fire today, these are my fav's.
I was using the 50mm FD mount, this gives me a super shallow DOF, my goal with the set was to use the orange of the fire to give it a graphic feel.

It does. I would like to see all of it, but I could see a little sweet home alabama played on it.

I will take some wider shots of it I'm sure this is Mr R's black Gibson, I will pull out Miss Emily's guitar for next time also, it's a stunning wood grain

Tiller, I was thinking that about my Martin acoustic as well. My electric and bass are so cheap that it wouldn't matter.

Ah no worries it was in no danger wood stove door was shut and it was about 6ft away lol
